I've lived permanently in Algonquin Highlands since 1990, having grown up as a 3rd generation cottager on Beech Lake.

I was elected to my first term as a Councillor in 2006 and was acclaimed to the position of Mayor in both the 2010,  2014 and 2018 elections. I was elected by my County Council peers to be the Warden of Haliburton County in 2013 and again 2016.
 

I will not be seeking re-election in the fall of 2018 so will wind down this site.
